Demolition of this building, previously the headquarters for a Chicago bank franchise, began in April of 2021. Located in Oak Park, our plan includes 42 residential units, primarily two-bedroom and two-bathroom units, with common amenities such as a rooftop deck, a dog run, and a shared common area to act as additional leisure space. Units will be wider than traditional units due to the existing floor plate, and will contain exposed ceilings due to the loft style nature of the building. The building spans an entire city block, stretching from Normandy Ave. to Rutherford Ave. The first floor will include 10,000 square feet of office and retail space, including lower level buildout options for future additional retail space. The expected completion date is spring of 2023.
